Online National Vitiligo Quiz 2026 – Post-Graduate (PG) Medical Category
1. Eligibility Criteria
- Academic Qualification: Participation is strictly restricted to Post-Graduate medical students, residents, and practicing physicians holding a valid MBBS degree.
- Professional Registration: Candidates must be registered with the National Medical Commission (NMC), or a relevant State Medical Council. Provision of a valid registration number is mandatory during the registration process.
- Nationality & Age: The competition is open exclusively to Indian citizens. There is no upper age limit for participation.
- Exclusions: Organizers, sponsoring entities, members of the jury panel, and their immediate family members are ineligible to participate.
2. Registration Process
- Fee & Portal: Registration is free of charge and must be completed exclusively through the official online registration portal.
- Deadline: The registration window will close promptly on July 10, 2026, at 11:59 PM IST. Late submissions will not be entertained.
- Documentation: Applicants are required to upload legible copies of their MBBS Degree Certificate, PG enrollment proof or Bonafide Certificate, and their MCI/SMC Registration Certificate/Number.
- Entry Limit: Only one registration per participant is permitted. The creation of multiple or duplicate profiles will result in immediate disqualification.
3. Quiz Format
- Mode of Conduct: The quiz will be conducted digitally through a secure, AI-proctored online platform. The access link and login instructions will be emailed to all registered participants 24 hours before the commencement of the quiz.
- Schedule: The quiz will take place on July 19, 2026, from 12:00 HRs to 13:00 HRs IST.
- Duration: Participants will have 60 minutes to complete 25 questions. The assessment cannot be paused once initiated.
- Syllabus: The evaluation consists of 25 Multiple-Choice Questions (MCQs) focusing on Vitiligo, covering clinical manifestations, pathogenesis, recent guidelines, therapeutics, surgical modalities, and recent research updates.
- Grading: There is no negative marking for incorrect answers.
- Medium: The medium of instruction and quiz is strictly English.
4. Technical Requirements & Specifications
- Hardware: Participants must utilize a desktop computer or laptop equipped with a functional webcam and a stable internet connection. Performance via mobile devices is not guaranteed, and their use is strongly discouraged.
- Proctoring Protocol: The camera and microphone must remain active throughout the duration of the quiz. Tab switching, screen minimized states, detection of background audio, or the presence of secondary individuals within the camera frame will result in automatic test submission and subsequent disqualification.
- Disconnections: In the event of network disruption, a single re-login window of up to 2 minutes is permitted. The organizing committee bears no liability for local connectivity failures or hardware malfunctions.
5. Code of Conduct
- Academic Integrity: The utilization of textbooks, reference notes, external internet searches, external consultation, or any form of impersonation is strictly prohibited.
- Environment: Candidates must remain alone in a well-lit room, directly facing the camera for the entirety of the quiz.
- Finality of Decisions: All determinations made by the Panel of Judges are final and legally binding. No queries, disputes, or appeals regarding the questions, answer keys, or final grading will be entertained.
- Disciplinary Action: The organizers reserve the right to disqualify any participant found breaching this Code of Conduct, without the obligation to provide an explicit justification.
6. Results & Accolades
- Declaration: Results will be compiled on July 19, 2026. The top two performers will be notified directly via email and telephonic communication.
- Awards Structure: Prizes will be awarded to the 1st and 2nd place winners of each respective zone (spanning 4 designated zones across Pan-India), accompanied by a physical certificate.
- Tie-Breaker Criteria: In the event of identical scores, ties will be resolved based on:
- Shortest duration taken to complete the quiz.
- Lowest number of incorrect responses submitted.
- Final discretion of the Panel of Judges.
- Participation: An E-Certificate of Participation will be issued to all candidates who successfully complete the assessment.
7. Intellectual Property & Publicity Rights
- Ownership: All academic content, proprietary software interfaces, and quiz materials remain the exclusive intellectual property of the [Organizing Body].
- Publicity Consent: By participating, candidates grant the organizers permission to utilize their name, photograph, institutional affiliation, rank, and score for academic dissemination and promotional purposes.
8. Privacy & Liability Limitations
- Data Protection: Participant data will be utilized solely for the administration of this quiz and related academic outreach activities. No data will be shared with third-party entities.
- Amendments: The organizers reserve the right to modify, postpone, or cancel the event due to unforeseen technical difficulties or administrative exigencies. No claims for compensation shall be admissible under such circumstances.
- Unconditional Acceptance: Completion of the registration process constitutes an unconditional acceptance of these terms and conditions.
